Showdown Randomization

Now that new Storylines have dropped, I figured I could complete the Negro Leagues collection by doing the Jackie Robinson showdown again, since it wasn't terrible the first go. I'm not a fan of showdowns, but it only took a couple tries, and the challenge scaled well.
After failing once, I draft again, and the first challenge I have is to get like 4 runs off Satchel Paige?! A pitcher that is literally harder to hit than the final boss? And here I'm supposed to do it with half a team and just ok perks. Needless to say I failed, and got him as the 2nd boss the next go.
Unless they're just trying to munch my stubs, I feel like I should be facing the low cards in the program before the highest tier cards in the program, since that's how it went the first time.
