Fernando Tatis Jr suggestion...

I've been using Tatis Jr's LS card for weeks now. He is the best overall leadoff hitter at the Gold level. Great speed, excellent hitter, got power, and solid fielder with a strong arm. Can't ask for more from a player that costs 100o stubs or so.

There is a diamond Tatis that costs 0 stubs if you play a padres MTO or are good at showdowns lol I don’t think anyone wants gold Tatis for anything but the collections

Nelson Cruz can't get you extra base hits as easily though. You want a guy that can easily leg out a double or triple to lead off. Anyone can hit a solo shot. A power hitter like Cruz would be better served as a 2-3 hitter so there's at least 1 runner on base for him. Defense will realign to normal shift. Any "extreme pull" hitters, you want to set your lineup so that you increase your chances of the defense playing normal shift because there's runners on base. Best approach IMO...

Can't say i blame him for taking you serious since your last real life manager had Kyle Schwarber at lead off.

Putting Schwarber at leadoff was not a bad idea on paper, it just didn’t work out in the end.
