Hitting was clearly nerfed after the latest update.

I was enjoying the game, then all of a sudden with this update it's all cans of corn and ground balls. A well hit ball may make it just short of the warning track most of the time. I had 9 games straight with no home runs (3 inning mini seasons) after hitting aplenty before the update. I have been playing on veteran, so HOF/legends folks you may not have been affected. But clearly, there is a big change. The CPU pitching has also changed as even with a 3-0 count its rare I get a good pitch to hit now. The only good change Tuesday is now the CPU hits better. But with me unable to hit with any power now it isn't so great. Also, the crack of the bat is now a little tap sound unless its perfect.
Long time player who hasn't been on the forums but also have some fielding comments in another thread I'll post.

No it wasn't, hitting is the same, you could just be having a bad day hitting which happens to everyone

Apparently it was Veteran. I played all-star and the bats are cracking. Veteran still not happenin.
