How can I complete the Live Series Collection fast NMS?

I'm a completionist on every game I play, good news is MLB the show 25 has a lot of stuff to complete, bad news is I have no clue what to do for the high-priced cards. I started playing in MLB 21 when it came out on Xbox then stopped playing until this year. I don't have the worst pack luck as I've pulled some decent cards this year such as Lindor, Skenes, and a few others. But even playing MLB 21 back then I never pulled the trout card and didn't finish the Live series collection. This year I'm a little better than I was and I'm on PS5 now so it's a better game now IMO, but what can I do to get the Ohtani/Trout/Mookie/Bobby Witt Jr Cards? I'm nowhere near familiar with how to flip cards on the marketplace, and I can go 6 or 7 wins in BR, but I haven't been able to hit the 10-0 mark for the high diamond. What the best NMS method to getting the high roller cards without BR? Or how can I flip cards fast and make a good profit?

Easiest is to wait later in the year when most live series cards are QS

Easiest answer, get lucky. Otherwise, its not quick. its grind grind grind. I'm 1 card away, i'm sure you can guess which one. This has been the worst year for LS collections, and drop rates of LS Diamonds. I've given up on getting Ohtani, either i'll pull him, or get him in July.

@FiinxticTTV_PSN Unfortunately, they have killed every good way to make stubs this year. It’s a little late at this point, but the best plan is to buy the top cards first. Keep anything 88 and over you pull and sell anything lower. Cards under 88 this year have a much higher pull rate and inevitably go down over time. 88+ go up until much later in the cycle. Do what you can to make stubs. It’s rough this year. I was able to do the live series collection in about a month still. Usually it only takes me 2-3 weeks.

@LIONED-33_XBL I pulled Jorge Polaco Egg Hunt Card out of a standard pack, thats my best pull. I Sold him and it seems like he went down in price but it was a good 100k, Im still debating if i should buy like a 150k card or a few 70K cards, or would it be better to save up for Shohei?

@GoozeFn_PSN should i farm BR and just sweat my a$$ off? or would it be better to continue grinding XP and conquests for Stubs and packs?

Just buy 3 $150 PSN cards and be done with it.

I find the best method is to play the game regardless of offline or online. As soon as you have 75k stubs buy one of those 50 pack bundles. At some point you are bound to pull Ohtani. Pull him three times and you should have enough to complete the collection.

@FiinxticTTV_PSN so I saved up 380k when he was that low and decided to complete multiple other collections. I had 80k saved on Monday….decided to complete the egg program as that’s the last one I need for other collections. With big collection reward Friday I should be sitting pretty. I’ll get shohei some time. He’s literally the last card I need

I am somewhat similar. Sitting on about 250k but still need a few cards for Threads and Easter. Only missing Ohtani. But I am flipping a common card, don't ask me which one. and making a stub with each complete transaction. So it is just a matter of time.

@FiinxticTTV_PSN If you can go 10-0 regularly, that’s not a bad idea. If you can’t go 10-0, I wouldn’t touch BR. I try to complete everything, but I don’t touch BR anymore because going 10-0 is probably not going to happen for me.

I am somewhat similar. Sitting on about 250k but still need a few cards for Threads and Easter. Only missing Ohtani. But I am flipping a common card, don't ask me which one. and making a stub with each complete transaction. So it is just a matter of time.
1 stub profit, minus taxes, is phenomenal. Don't let SDS know or they'll patch it.

Hey don't worry the latest update made it so previous capped live series at 500k now is capped at 750k. You know because people who have 5 ohtani cards because of BR runs or pack luck cried it wasn't fare they could only make 500k. But hey they still haven't fixed the hair lag, coop quit glitch, pci shrinking on breaking pitches, or the fact that perfect hits are outs 30% of the time but being very late is still a bloop double 65% of the time. Stop complaining everyone

You mean to say you haven't gotten him through log in yet? Me and my friends have gotten him at log in so much that it's a surprise when he isn't there.

I feel like I’m pretty good at getting the most out of my time grinding. My advice is to:
Grind the conquest stuff using lineups that are full of Team Affinity and Program guys. I keep a notebook to scribble the names and my progress with them to make sure I’m not wasting any conquest games. If you’re knocking out program stuff while winning conquest, that’s about as good as you can do I think. Mini seasons might be similar, but I don’t think so?
Too late now, but that 50 pack season 1 XP program award was nice. At least that’s how I think we earned that? Whatever it was, it was worth it.

Don’t buy packs
Take the time to sell all your duplicates. The app makes that easier than using the game. I sell everything I don’t need. Jerseys, icons, absolutely everything. Opening packs on the app also makes that easier since you can easily see their market stuff and post for sale right away.
All that said, I’m still a ways away from the LS. Missing Dodgers, Mets, Braves, Phillies, D Backs, and Yankees. But I was on vacation for 2 weeks and play quite a bit of Ranked because that’s the most fun for me, so it’s not a massive focus. But I’ve got a solid collection of stuff without spending money.
