I am so happy right now!!! I was literally freaking out. The crazy thing is, I just sold Arenado last week with hopes to save up for Mike Trout and then bam... I pull him in a frickin' standard pack which also had a diamond nameplate.
My luck for the year may now be spent.

I almost feel like I should just lock him in so I don't accidentally quick-sell him or something completely stupid.

Thanks, man! I don't ever buy packs so I just kind of play with who I get or unlock. I've pulled Trout twice back in The Show 16 but since then, I think the best pull I've ever had was Future Stars Vladimir Guerrero Jr. last year. The packs have been so much better for me this year than any other.
As a Silver 7 with six Face of the Franchise cards, I've pulled these cards so far this year:
1x Jose Altuve
1x Freddie Freeman
1x Javier Baez
1x Nolan Arenado
1x Charlie Morton
1x Robb Nen
1x "Legendary Call" Ritual (Back when it was 50K)...and now 1x Mike Trout

I haven't pulled trout ever, and I have played DD for the past five years, maybe within the next 10 I'll get there, but congrats man, that's awesome!

I truly hope you can change that this year and your luck changes and hopefully soon. When I pulled him in The Show '16, I'm pretty sure it was in July or August so I didn't really get the full effect but anytime you pull a card like that is just fun.
Ya know, it's one of those things you see those Youtube guys pull all these sweet cards but they buy a ridiculous amount of packs and most of them can go 12-0 in BR so the pull is kind of hollow (at least, IMO). I think I've bought two 20-bundles with Stubs that I earned and I haven't spent $1 more than the pre-order of the game so it has been a fun year having good pack luck with just the packs I've earned.
Anyway, I usually hate these threads but now I kind of understand them... it's so exciting that you just have to tell someone! I wish I had people that watched the notifications in-game to see the little notification.
