I just don't get it...

@dap1234567890_PSN said in I just don't get it...:
@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN Don't forget the misspell of "stubs" as "stuns".
That's what I was referring to in my reply. Ironically, he's commented back about it, but hasn't taken the effort to change it.

I was just flipping this common free agent, I don't want to say who, and was killing it. Buying for 5 stubs and selling for 7 stubs...or stuns...whatever. Spelling isn't important here. Anyways my balance was just sky rocketing. Every five transactions and I could afford to buy another card. Then this mathlete came on to my turf and listed seven hundred orders for 6. So now he is breaking even and my stub balance is stalled at 55.
If SDS doesn't fix this I am going to buy the Indiana Jones game that was just released on PS5 yesterday. You've been warned.

@splattz35_PSN correct if I'm wrong below...
OP (that would be you) made a post saying he doesn't understand why people sell cards for the amount that they do when they sell well below the previous lowest seller. Then there were four posts explaining why, one post correctly telling him that this is a more appropriate forum category for this post, then a post about a misspelling. At this point no one called the OP any names or said anything disrespectful. Then the OP made two consecutive posts, the last one which called one poster the name "champ" in a manner that is obvious to be disrespectful. Then another post about a misspelling, and then again the OP calls another poster a name (the same name as before, not even something original). Then after that, just the OP gets upset that someone called him a clown for his posts. Then the OP just continued digging a hole that he couldn't get out of and blames other people for calling him names and says that he never called anyone any names (yet he called just about everyone else in here some sort of name).
So, it looks like to me that you were the one that sent this one spiraling in the direction it went when you were the one who went with name-calling first and the second one as well. Your responses (especially with the name calling) put you in that bad situation where you just kept digging yourself a hole.

This forum used to be helpful and douche free, but that was several years ago
-
@Pergo_MLBTS but you just answered yourself. You'll be undercut either way..so basically all that is be accomplished is killing the value of the card.
-
@theBlindRhino_PSN but he is not unlikely to be underbid...that is the point
-
Dumbest thing ever. Just ignore the lowball bid and put your order in for one less than the previous bid. Not rocket science. The lowball will be filled and yours is next in line.
-
@MUSTARDxTIGER__PSN nope they'll keep going lower until the value is gone
-
@squishiesgirl_MLBTS I’ve thought for years that the market is run by computer buying and selling at will to keep the prices in line. No matter what happens the orders get filled buy or sell.
-
When I see that people do that, I just place my card at a value below the second card on the list. So for example, if it’s 21500 then 24000, ill list it at 23999. Sure, it can take longer to sell, especially if more cards start to get placed under the 21500 range, but it usually sells soon enough. If it doesn’t, then it shows that that true market value for that card was closer to 21500 than 24000.
