Is randy worth the stubs?
-
I need a go to ace. Lefty and non red sock is preffered since my lineup is all red sox righties (other than arrietta, but im still newish and rusty on values.) Should i wait? Or is he worth it if you were in my shoes?

Depends on your skill level…On HOF Randy is worth it, On AS not so much.

If someone can't hit outlier then randy is prob auto win
His control is really bad so if someone can hit outlier plus hit middle middle offspeed misses hell prob get hit hard. Prob not worth 140k

@IrishFist412_MLBTS appreciate both of your input. Held off for now, especially since i blew two thirds of my coinstack in madden tonight, cant splurge in two games in one night. Lol
Just curious, still something of a novice ro intermediate show player, i always hear the references to certain pitchers being better at higher or lower levels? I still dont get why? Why would randy be bad at low levels but good at high levels or vice versa?

Has to do with pitch speeds and movement/break of the pitches.
If I'm not mistaken; pitchers with a lot of breaking balls are better in higher levels because of the combination of the pitch speed, at that level, and the break of their pitches.

@SquishySoldier_MLBTS It’s the outlier trait that makes a pitcher hard to face on higher levels. Take Roger Clemons…On All Star he’s no different than anybody else. But on HOF & up he’s amazing.
