And it's been that way for years. Freeze offs, input lag, ball movement on the pitch being all over the place. I'm not sure if SDS has any intentions of fixing this, but it doesnt seem likely. It's very frustrating, almost to the point where I dont feel like playing this game anymore. I've been playing it since it's inception, but the servers are HORRIBLE! Rant over!

I played about seven or eight games this weekend. Online play was fine.

The problem I meet the most is input lag (if any input at all) when using L1 to extend a lead on the bases. Twice it had my runner advancing on line outs or pop outs, as if the input registered after the ball was put in play.

I recently played a game where I was up 1-0 in the bottom of the 9th and my pitcher had good stamina and confidence and I use pinpoint and threw a perfect pitch but when looking at the preview in the bottom left corner it says my pitch timing was very early. I ended up losing the game to a hung curveball and couldn’t throw strikes at all after that and would just throw it 10 feet above the strike zone or beam them. There should be a way for me to report this as I know I have good connection. I feel like a report on connection issues should be seen and given rating points back for it. Absolutely outrageous.

@JEEPaholic21_MLBTS had my first freeze off today in weekend classic. Didn’t realize I had to plug my controller in, I guess it died and PS went into sleep mode.
Shame on SDS for not fixing freeze offs or at least identifying when they happen and nullifying those game results (should be treated like a friendly quit)

Not my ISP, I play with about four friends all the time, and they pretty much have the same problems I do, and we dont share ISP's

I played 8 games for weekend classic and only had one game that was annoying with pauses, flashing bunt before every pitch and holding RT while i was trying to pitch. Other than that game every other one was fun and competitive. Glad I didn't see any world series players lol

I would also like to mention you could pay for the best internet in the world but if you dont have the equipment to handle it, it wont matter. For example you pay for 1GB but your router can only handle 500 MB then your internet will never run above 500 MB. The ISP never tells you this because all they care about is the upgrade. If you ever upgraded your internet speed but kept the same box you are probably running the incorrect equipment.
