ever since mlb th show game came out years ago, i have always played franchise mode offline of course. to me its much simpler then trying to play someone online with a user who maybe alot better then myself or just beat you like 20 to 1 or something like that. but anyways. i find it very frusttrating to add players to import to my roster once i set up my team in franchise mode. you can not do it. i do not understand why you can't import players once you set up your roster once in franchise mode. just like on real teams in the mlb, from mlb to low a-ball rosters, change all the time from spring training to end of there season, whenever that is. so in order for your team in franchise mode to be realistic, you should be able to import players that are not on other teams, free agency. i realize that sony san diego cant all all free agents or players that are over seas, in independent ball, etc, so to me the easiest thing to do is be able to import players from the vault & either add them to your team or replace a player that is in the free agent list. im not sure how time consuming this is, but im assuming if all the changes that they made for this years franchise mode in mlb the show 25, why cant they do a patch & add this to franchise mode. i guess it depends on how much money & time that this would actually take. but to me it would make the franchise mode that more realistic to the game, just like all the other changes that they have made this year as well as put a player on the injured list.

What you said is probably something a lot of Franchise guys have been wishing for over the years.
My guess is it’s just a limitation of the current game engine. I mean, people have been asking for this for ages and it still hasn’t changed.
To be fair, I do think SDS tries to add what they can within reason — and honestly, they’ve listened to a bunch of stuff over the years.
But yeah, the feature you mentioned (which I’m also really hoping for) still hasn’t made it in, sadly.

Do you have CPU roster control on when you started your franchise.

normally i do not, why if i do cpu roster control, then i can import players to my team in franchise. or no, just wondering never tried to. i have always been told, once you set up your franchise in franchise mode that you can not add players after you already set it up.

I believe the best you can do is find an editable player (perhaps one that is manufactured by the game or a journey man who is no longer on a team) and edit the player to emulate the one you would like to add to your franchise. Like you, I’ve been playing franchise on MLB the show for years and have looked for ways to import players several times. Unfortunately, this is not possible as much as I would like it to be.

SDS gave up on franchise mode and anything making it a realistic baseball game years ago. They just continue to prove it year after year. If anything it’s almost dead at this point. It’s all about the pokemon card game now! If ur suggestions aren’t about DD, they won’t even acknowledge it. Just a recycled game they use over and over and DD players are happy with that so they’re not gonna change anything. It’s literally an older engine that last gen supported and not only are they still recycling it year after year but the DD players think it’s great every year. It’s a wrap for us franchise guys.
