Pitching Perks Not Unlocking

I'm currently into my second season of RTTS. I have every fielding and hitting perk unlocked, but as a two-way player I have not unlocked a single pitching perk. Throughout my MLB career, I have 280 strikeouts, 2.30 ERA, and am leading the way for the Cy Young in my second season (even though I got drafted by the A's who refuse to score more than 3 runs a week). All of my P/9 perks are over 70 and I have focused on developing my pitches to try and unlock anything. I'm currently a 86 SP/73 SS because I have been dumping as many points as I can into the pitching side to get some perks. What am I missing? Is there some reason I can not unlock perks for this character? Really don't want to restart...
I am in the same boat on my two a player. I have everything unlocked for hitting and fielding, but not a single pitching perk.

@Tandil1368_XBL same for my two way player. Just won the World Series for the 2025 season.. was cy young winner and mvp for pitching. Not one perked unlocked… bunch of perks for hitting, fielding & baserunning.

I’m a closing pitcher in AA and have 3 perks or 4 unlocked so far

So it looks like it’s just an issue on two way players. I just checked my pitcher I made on day one of early access he is in July and he has a bunch of perks. So it definitely is an issue with just the two way.

Definitely not just a two way player issue. My starting pitcher hasn’t gained any through 7 starts in AAA

Same here: Two-way female character. Batting perks DO get unlocked. (I am mediocre in batting and bat on veteran). Pitching perks don’t get unlocked. Fielding also do NOT get unlocked, but Baserunning ones do (only two so far though). It makes zero sense in terms of achieving interesting feats, as I do much more impressive stuff pitching.

Same...I am in my second season about to enter the playoffs and have 1 pitching perk available. I am 99 OVR pitching...I feel like all of the other perks open when your player comes up on that particular situation in game...then the perk opens...so, are we to assume if as pitchers, we do not come upon a game situation then we will never get the corresponding perk? That's what it seems like to me. I also only have 2 running, speed, stealing perks open. Every batting and fielding open, 1 pitching, 2 speed/running perks...we need an explanation as to how this works please.

Still having this same issue for my 2 way player. Would be nice if they at least addressed this in some way.

Two way player with the same issue here. Tons of hitting and fielding perks unlocked, but nothing for pitching.

I agree it’s buged , I created three two way players and no pitching perks. However, it seems to get a pitching perk per all star major league appearance. I made the all star game twice and got a random pitch perk each time. On one player, I haven’t duplicated on a 2nd two way yet. Takes a lot of time

Make sure we are reporting this bug! Seems like an easy fix. Every year there’s always something in RTTS that doesn’t work properly, and they never seem to address it. Kinda frustrating.

New here, been looking for a thread that covers this topic everywhere. I unlocked 2 pitching perks in the minors. Maxed out Pulse Pounder. Worked great. Then in got to the majors and it doesn't trigger anymore. Haven't unlocked a single pitching perks since. 2way player. How do we report bugs?

There is no lock or unlock on the perks. That's not how it works in MLB 25. You are awarded perks based on game code recognition of your quality of play. When I have been awarded them it was only after I pulled off a great play, either a diving or leaping catch, a critical hit, go ahead RBI, or critical strikeout.
Now, if the issue being reported here is that the perks are not activating when the game situations arise that match the situations when they should activate, then that would be a programming bug.

Pitching perks are not unlocking as a two way player! Hitting, fielding and base running are working as intended. This is my current problem.

Perks only unlock after the player encounters that situation in game. If the player does not encounter a game situation that the perk would effect...that perk will never be available...that's that.

Pitching, hitting, fielding, and running perks are activating for my two-way player all the time in RTTS. In fact, in a bit over three seasons of play, my avatar player has been awarded nearly all the available perks. So, many times, I'm starting a play with several of them activated.
