Certain pitches shrinking PCI

It’s the worst thing that’s happened to this game in a long time. I know it was also in the game last year however it’s only been amplified by the power creep and having lower overall stats on your batters. People just crutch the same 2-3 pitches and it makes hitting miserable along with inconsistent exit velos and perfect line outs.

I've seen it many times in cq and ms, I could understand if the pitcher had the quirk for that pitch type but not once and it doesn't do it every time either.

Try hitting the ball with the middle of your PCI, then size doesn't matter.

SDS says that the reason same handed low and away sliders shrink the pci is because it's suppose to "limit" foul balls. It doesn't especially when people see that pitch and just contact swing so they won't get struck out and foul it off. The real reason is last year they tried to fix it and when they sent the patch out it crashed the game for 18 hours. It's the same why they can't fix anything in the hitting engine. They don't know how without breaking the game.
