Got Trout during the market dip!

Been wanting to snag Trout, just haven't had the stubs. Did something I never do, bought 2 of the 50k Threads packs. Pulled Burnes, Christian Walker 3 times, Max Fried twice and Goldy. Sold them all and was able to get Trout for 185k.
I'll try him out, he was the only LS card from the Angels I was missing. Part of me wants to lock him in for Napoli. But I figure he will go back up to 200k or so. Haven't had him this early since '18! Of course now I only have 8k left in stubs. Still glad to have him!

There was no market dip. His price has been consistent.

@aaronjw76_MLBTS I don't know then, I guess I got lucky. I hadn't seen him selling for under 195k the last few days but after the packs came out he dropped, I put in an order for 185k and got him and I think some got him for 180k. It was quick, whatever it was.

@wingspan1985_PSN I don't think it takes a dip for a Trout card to be under 200K in 2025. He isn't the best card in the game anymore.

I noticed that some of the 86-87 LS cards did take a dip tonight. Freeman, Vlad Jr., Elly, Mason, etc. Not sure why.

@yankblan_PSN It is. I haven't tried him online yet, but in Diamond Quest he has been coming up clutch, I'll probably try him in RS tonight, he has such a great swing. And if he is healthy he produces so I would hope maybe he goes up to a 90 with a little health luck.

It's because they aren't one of the best at the position anymore,there are cards to compete with them now.

The real gem of pulling Trout is you have the gatekeeper for Don Baylor, his card is so darn good

@wingspan1985_PSN Just pulled Bobby Witt Jr. from the new Conquest map! So I guess now if I want Baylor I can get him. Still need to try Trout online, but stunned at this pull.

Yea hes worth it, unlike every other card I use you don't have to be perfect with the pci placement/timing and he generates a ton of pop

For what it’s worth I pulled Trout and figured I should immediately sell him for the 180k stubs… but then I played with him and he’s been absolutely killing it. Dude hits nukes for me.
