Legend Pitchers

So while it’s still early, SDS please make your legends usable this year. We have all these wonderful legend pitchers, I just want them to be great. Can we give JR Richard a change up this year, even if it’s not the best in control, he needs it. When some of these pitch to contact legends like Jim Kaat get there 99s please give them a usable hit per nine and not like 82. I’m not asking for all these guys to be meta, but let’s no completely nerf them. Eck through a change up, why not give him that fifth pitch.
Just putting out there while it’s early. I’m hoping we don’t have a lot of great legend pitchers just collecting dust in a binder. I have faith in you guys.

I’d take a sweeper lol, I just always feel like we don’t have legend problem as much as we have a usable legend problem with pitchers. They’re so strick with them, yet live series players sans Josh Hader for some reason, get 5 pitch mixes.

@Jcassaro44_MLBTS Pedro Martinez, for most of his career threw a 4FB, a 2FB, a curve and a Bugs Bunny changeup (according to Barry Bonds). He didn’t even throw a 4FB when coming to Montreal from LAD, the coaching staff had to convince him to use it.
For some reason in this game, or maybe in his later years in NYM, he often has a cutter and slider, and a sinker instead of a 2FB.
While in Boston, a reporter relayed to Pedro that a player thought that Pedro had the best slider in the game, Pedro said “tell him thanks, but I don’t throw a slider”
