I’m noticing that my base runners are automatically sliding head first into first base instead of running through the bag.

It seems to be occurring with directional hitting & “analog flick” setting enabled. My base runners slide with right analog as well. It doesn’t seem to happen when “button” is used as swing input.

I noticed folks experiencing the same on Reddit. I wanted to bring it to your attention here as well.

Sticky analog stick. Main reasons this happens is people eating while playing and having sticky hands and the other reason is wear and tear.

If at anytime you’re running to first and move your right analog stick, your runner will slide into first unless you’re rounding the bag

I'm having the same exact issues, and in year's past have never encountered it. And, I'm using the same exact controls I've always used. Hopefully they'll get this fixed soon.

I am SO GLAD The Show doesn’t have chat audio in game like in Madden. Nothing worse than getting matched up with an eater. They’re never eating something quiet, It’s ALWAYS the world’s biggest & loudest popcorn ball!….CHOMP! CHOMP! CRUNCH!
