Why are we still forced to use golds in Co-op?

I just don't understand why we can't just fully fill the Co-op lineup with cards that we own. Just forcing us to use golds that are given to us just doesn't seem right when we could just pick better players from our inventory to fill those spots. Thought?

I personally enjoy the fact that the gold cards are in there. If I wanted to play with a god squad, I'd play ranked.

If they aren't going to have an energy system for pitchers then I'm perfectly fine with the good cards. Adds some variety to the mode.

There is ranked co-op.. a mode where you should be able to use god squads lol
