How many developers do they have working this game? Is it like 3 people year round or a team of 100 who don’t start working on the game until November? Because there is no way a full development team has been working on this all year.
As if Ambush hitting which I actually like took them any time at all. This is a joke to the highest proportion! Everyone who represents this company should truly feel shame for scamming us year after year which is just a game update that we deserve throughout the year.
My biggest issue is with player media day photos during walk ups, while viewing the bullpen, and in other areas of the game such as simulation and roster menus. We used to get actual media day photos of the players, it was always half and half actual player photos and these god awful animated character likenesses. Now they said we aren’t worth any media day photos at all, rather than figuring out a way to implement every player photo regardless of what team they are on which would be the sharp professional way as is done in every other sports game. Now I have to look at what I despise most about this game every at bat, looking at these deformed idiots on the Jumbotron makes me absolutely sick.
This company is stealing our money, they make over a quarter of a billion dollars off of us every year and all they do is remove features. It’s crazy but they have a legal monopoly and there is nothing we can do about it, they know this and laugh in our faces. I’ve complained year after year and all I get is Miguel stating they’ve taken my feedback into consideration. No it’s not feedback it’s a bug, because I don’t accept that SDS would do such terrible things to the community.

So because it’s day 1 it gives them excuse to not complete the game. How is it possible that DD has a complete roster with all player cards for MLB players and the Default rosters are missing a quarter of those same cards?! They have Kevin Alcantara, they have Michael Arias? Make it make sense! Not to mention the stats are not equal either. Does it make sense that DD day 1 and default rosters are different?

Because ST hasn't finished, and rosters haven't been finalized yet? Again, it's day 1 of release...we're lucky we get it BEFORE the actual rosters are submitted. Good lord, have some commons sense kid.

As I mentioned, 40 player cards for each team all have player cards on DD. Default rosters missing at least of quarter of those same player cards. Including almost the entire white Sox team. Don’t act like they will update default rosters throughout the year, you know they do not. This is extremely detrimental to MTO. I have common sense, I’ve watched the patterns for years. Stop making excuses for the multimillion dollar monopoly. Licking their boots saying that we are lucky to have anything at all. You’re the one who needs common sense guy.

Regardless of if ST was finished or not all the player cards are available. Should be in default rosters as well.

If you have to tell other people you have common sense, that is a pretty good sign that you do not have common sense.

I sort of get what OP is getting at. I felt the same with with 24 but then thought that maybe they're just churning the same game out this year because they're working on a massive upgrade to the game by going only current gen. This would mean 2025 level graphics and gameplay.
but nope. they did nothing close to that. they just rehashed the game . not saying it's a bad game, but 25 is more like 24.5 and 24 was more like 23.5.
They gave the keys to this new team for 24 and 25 and it looks like they like to play it safe. But with zero competition there is no incentive to push the envelope.

@dap1234567890_PSN nah dude, expressing frustration based on valid complaints is legit and pretty much the only way to raise these concerns. Your responses are actually worthless because my post represents a huge part of the community, and our beliefs still stand that this game is not being improved as it should be. I live and breathe baseball so yeah I’m pretty upset that the only option I have for a video game fails me every year. So why don’t you go troll elsewhere or maybe make a valid point for your company.

Don't bother, you can't reason with children when they throw tantrums. Guy clearly doesn't grasp that there's gonna be a roster update in about a week and a half (after spring training has wrapped up) with opening day rosters, as well as the fact that DD and Franchise have always had different ratings.
Guy's is probably the same type that thinks you should get 99's in the starter program

@Sarge1387_PSN where was the roster update in 2024, do you understand that the default rosters are the only ones you can use in MTO. I don’t play DD I play MTO with every team in the league throughout the year.

I mean, it literally doesn't...because the community, minus a few out-to-lunch people, largely understand the game's been out full scale for 15 hours. And that there will be a roster update that contains the opening day rosters for both offline franchise, and DD.
You must be exhausting to be around. Get a grip.
