@icebergslim7669_PSN when the good/glitchy cards are all switch hitters, that’s what you’re going to get. My end game is all switch hitters and Jeter, no captain.

How is using a key aspect of the game (switch hitters) la else as “not being good at the game”?
Seems like you’re not very good if you struggle against switch hitting teams.

In any game where people compete against other people, they'll always find an excuse to justify their loss. No one ever says "I played a bad game". Its always "You needed this 'unfair' advantage to beat me."

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN It’s not an unfair advantage if it’s available to everyone. I loved the switch hitting captain and it’s annoying to me that cry babies talked them into nerfing it into being useless.

I personally know its not but thats what other people say. Its the same in COD. People say dumb [censored] like "Oh if you werent using that weapon or that perk, you wouldnt have killed me" like its cheating to use something thats in the game.
People in this community used to say it about certain pitchers. I remember a time where Kluber and Newhouser were the reason people were saying they lost. Like someone is supposed to use worse pitchers in ranked just so some random wont call them names on the internet.

Also: Putting out the Switch Hitting Captain was not a good move anyway, because it increased the advantage of being a switch-hitter even more. SDS recognised that they built a bad meta and nerfed it.
Back to some normal captain talk: I hope that they put out some nice captains to build some different teams with (nobody would build without those captains) … I think they did a good job with those early cornerstone captains in 24.

@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN Same with Knuckleballers. Let people play the way they want to play. Just because you don’t like something, doesn’t mean it should be removed. Too many influential voices in this community have that mentality.

@YOSHI24_XBL They didn’t. I’m talking about years ago when they removed Niekro because of the whiny babies. With Waldron and another prospect coming up with a knuckleball, maybe they’ll bring back Wakefield, Niekro or some other fun legends.

If I remember right it was you saying „Knuckleballers“, not specifiying … that is in fact only Waldron in the last 4 years … Coming from that awful switch-hitter-captain it is pretty context
… But anyway (it is like debating a wall ).You may not like it: I like that Spahn is not in the game anymore (and Waldron not being good in the first place). Main reason: It would create another bad meta. If this game should resemble baseball it should resemble some actual „real life meta“ (Hitting HRs and high velocity). I did hate JohnDon and Randy quite a few times last year but that is the way baseball is rn
(and knuckleballers never resembled Baseball as a whole) -
