Its not about Showdown being hard for me. I don't think it is. I just absolutely hate the mode. I want to use my own cards. I want to earn pxp for my cards. I don't want to have to score 6 runs twice in a gimmicky mode that is NOT baseball.
On top of that, the mode only offers actual rewards once or twice a year. I can't say a single positive thing about it, although I get some people actually enjoy it.

There's gimmicky modes in all sports games, if you noticed.
I frown at them a bit, especially this year's 'perfect one-timer' in NHL, that I can't stand, but there will always be gimmicks in UT modes whether we like it or not. It is still baseball. You have to hit to score runs. -
This one is a breeze. I avoided them all year long until this one. I went in with the thought "3 tries and I'll be over it" try 1 Skub won 10 - 10. Try 2 I demolished both south paws. I like easy fun.

I have a real phobia against showdowns. They give me a feeling of anxiety. No lie. I wish they didn’t. Maybe if I could practice on them more without having to pay each time I do them it would help. I’ve already tried this one once and not made it. I’ll give it another try. I would’ve preferred a conquest. Or even a couple of moments. I don’t think I’m that great a hitter and that’s probably where the anxiety comes from. I had a little more confidence in myself probably wouldn’t be so bad. Yes, I practice a lot but the nerves are still there. No more of these mandatory showdowns, please.

I also dont have patience myself... wish they were just have the repeatable pxp for every program

I managed to finish the showdown on my 2nd account but tried doing it on my main account and failed so many times that I have up

So I tried the Milestone showdown again (second or third time) and didn't get past Chris Sale. That was after practicing multiple times with both Sale and Skubal. I'm just not any good at these things. I guess I'll never get those cards. Sigh.

Yup my mind is more on 2025 and hope they stop with that nonsense
