Negro Leagues Theme Team

I put together a pretty good Negro Leagues theme team, except that there are no relief pitchers. I realize that there really were no consistent relief pitchers at the time, and we can't assign starters to relief roles, so has anyone found a soluti0on to this problem?

The problem is stamina. In past Shows you could count on a complete game from pitchers with 125 stamina. Not anymore…Now you’re lucky to get 80 pitches before they’re yellow. So unfortunately you have to use the bullpen.

Could you rotate players from bench to SP? After you've started someone (say, Dihigo), move them from SP to bench while moving that bench player to SP. My understanding is SPs regain stamina even when they're on the bench / starting lineup as long as they are on the roster.

I haven’t tried that. Maybe it’ll work, since most of the pitchers are both-way players. -

SP HSmithCPTSo if Foster or Donaldson pitch in a game, you'd move them for one of the other four to have a fresh arm.
It's not ideal because when you bring a starter out of the bullpen then they're out of stamina regardless of how few pitches. However, it's the closest thing I could think to do without using an actual bullpen. At the very least, give yourself Mariano Rivera, Lee Smith, and even Aroldis Chapman for a lefty just to have some type of bullpen lol.
