I’d like to see a Capped ranked season in Diamond Dynasty. 85 overall for your team so it comes down to picking a heavy hitter team, a balanced team or maybe a pitcher dominant team.
With this you could also have your regular ranked season but to be honest I quit playing In about July every year because I’m not going to pay to have 99 diamonds at every position. The show used to be fun when it was a grind for diamonds. Now if you dump money in they are yours. I just think this idea would appeal to everyone. -
They have this, its called Events, and you don't have to pay for anything.
So what you want is you want to jump on and have it either handed to you, or you don't want to play against others who have earned or paid for their team.
Welcome to online sports games in 2024. I have most of the cards in the game. I had all the cards last year and all the year before. i bought the Special Edition which ever one with the hat. That's all I've spent money on. I know, you're going to say well i shouldn't have to play all the time to be competitive, well yes you should.

I came in this year when PS Plus offered the game. I haven't paid for anything except for the deluxe upgrade and I have 75% of the cards without playing online. My experience has been fairly positive with few exceptions. For one, the mandatory Halloweek showdown still irritates me. (Yes, I've tried to do it several times without any luck.) The Moments of Glory program is something I probably won't finish either, though that doesn't bother me as much since it came in earlier than I did. But overall, I've been pretty happy with 24. After not playing 23, breaking a string of many years of playing MLBTS, my plans are to buy 25 from the beginning.

It used to be a grind for players and in some aspects it still is but, you’re blind if you don’t see the money grab to give 99s for every possible player. Oh here’s this Negro League player that throws 105 knowing [censored] well he didn’t throw that fast. Here’s this prospect that hasn’t taken an at bat yet that’s a 99. You used to have to grind for a diamond. Now they make a bunch of people diamonds for no reason.
I know what events are.. I’ve played them plenty. I’m saying to make two separate ranked seasons one for actual baseball fans that want a strategy to their lineup, besides 99s at every position. Make it an 85 overall cap so maybe I have a couple power hitters a couple starting pitchers and a decent bullpen. Not unrealistic players at every position. -

@rschrec25_PSN Its only a money grab if you feel you need to pay. I don't. You can play the way you want, most of the game is about swings. you can have a team of 85, and if you know what you're doing, you can be competitive. if you're not good at the game or use say directional hitting you'll get eaten alive.
