Excitement for MLB the Show 25?

I don't think they will, this is all people speculating. No one knows for sure that they will because the Nintendo switch 2 is coming out why would they kill the game for the switch when there's a new switch coming soon.

I don't think its SDS call if they release on switch or not. I believe its up to the same people who think the golden at bat nonsense is a good idea (aka MLB)

Except alot of people play the switch version because they can take it on the go instead of packing their Xbox or PS5

Honestly I wish they would give us a ping indicator before the start of online games. It’s odd that that doesn’t exist already.

You should also have the ability to see which stadium you're playing at along with the weather.
If I have to play another game at Shield Woods, in the Rain, I'm going to flip.

They should remove the max elevation short fence fields or limit them to like a special moonshot event or something
I would be a fan of removing created stadiums from ranked entirely on top of that

Logic would dictate that's not true. The manufacturer's contract should have the first call as to whether they make one version or not. I doubt MLB could handcuff SDS to force them to make Switch, especially if it has problems or doesn't make them enough money to make it profitable. Same with any other versions, though I'm guessing there's no problem with Xbox or Playstation.

The reason this title is no longer PS exclusive is because MLB wanted it to be available to everyone.

@utka_NSW As someone who also plays on Switch, but mostly on PS5, I’m all for them going to current gen only if the means significant improvements. While it’s nice to play mobile, it’s rough playing competitively on Switch and you can always remote play on your phone. That should not be a deterrent to much needed improvement.
