Winter Wonderland Event

It's unbelievable that this is their Friday "content". Weak as hell.
I know most people who played this game are gone now playing other games, but it would be nice to reward us "loyalists" with actual new cards and real content.
I don't usually play those kinds of games, but that new Indiana Jones game looks sick.

No new rewards? It annoyed me all year when People said this game is dead, but I’m on board now. This game is officially dead.

At least give us new finest cards, I feel like we got more finest cards in 23 than this year

If you already own every Event cards; why bother playing.
You're getting non-sellable dupes.
At least make these sellable.

@Capt-Clutch-2K24_PSN I own every card except a few in the xp path. There’s no reason for me to do any of these modes. All of these programs are rewind packs. Trash.

Maybe I just don't pay that much after the world series and this year has been no different but do they ever release much meaningful content this late into the year?
I do know that there is a new Milestone Program and Conquest map next week and two more captain blizzard drops on the 10th and 17th.

Offhand, I dont remember getting much meaningful content this late.
I'm not upset. It is December. When I see YT content creators not letting go with their weak videos in December, all with their faces no one has asked to see on the title screen, even they are running out of ideas this late. At least Koogs is doing just about every MLB teams all-time squads. Luckily none with his goofy face at the titles 🤪 I'm even behind on watching those. Maybe because I'm heavily into NHL rn, and have a winter sports game to fall back on. I still have 2 Finest Conquest maps left and the first Blizzard program to do here when NHL is angering me with some dumb sh*t EA can pull there! For those that don't like Moments, don't try HUT. Your eyes will fall out of your head, and controllers will be a flyin!' -

Agreed on the Jin Kim captain.
Or at least let Rube Foster boost any player who played in the Negro Leagues (not just the ones from storylines) -

I'd love to make a theme team, but besides that, the only two worthy end-game players are both pitchers, Donaldson and Paige.
I do appreciate this though because I had never heard of Donaldson (I didn't play last year) and now I know a little about him.

Disappointed we didn't get to play in a winter themed ball park with lite snow , not enough to disrupt the game but enough to make it a winter wonderland. Earn winter themed cards like David Freeze , JT Snow , and Big Christmas Joensky Noel .

DisappointedYou're more creative than their entire team of content creators. And I bet you would have offered at least ONE new card instead of the hideous Rewind packs.

Outside of AS Week and Postseason, the content team has mostly been disinterested this year. Even the marketing leading into this game was bare bones. Here's hoping this was an off-year and they've just been super focused on '25.
Also, I agree that they either need a Jin Kim captain or a captain for players before 1960s, kind of like those Babe Ruth / Willie Mays captain cards from last year. Hilton Smith hasn't even had his Jin Kim card yet did they forget about him?

Oh that's what I do. But it's getting ridiculous how random the cards are that I'm currently P5ing.
At least it's something to do but I'm desperate for new cards.
It's getting so bad and shows how few people are still playing, that I might end up being the first 1/1 P5 for a card I initially badmouthed.
I'm going slower than normal and I'm still the first to P4 with the Jeremy Pena Captain card. He did turn out better than I expected, but still.

I came in late, too. (I'm assuming you came in like I did with PS Plus.) The storylines were two of the first things I worked on. I loved them both. I didn't buy '23, so it was new to me. I think what they did was marvelous. And the only thing I didn't like about the Jeter storyline was that it was the Yankees. They did a wonderful job with both of those.
