The Jackie Robinson Captain is crazy expensive when all the rest of the captains are cheaper

That Verlander boost I think for no hitters looks pretty good and might try that out. Helps pitchers and certain hitters

Was the Robinson Captain in the choices we got for Season 4? If so, I wish I'd taken it. At first glance, I thought given the small number of cards it would affect, it wouldn't be worth it. I guess I was wrong.

Mullins and Mussina or Verlander is what I use.

I'm just curious why all of the sudden people love the Jackie boost. It really limits you on what players you can use. Like I don't think there's a single player I'm using now that qualifies.
O'Neil Cruz or Carlos Santana boosts all day. And then for most of the year I've always run Kershaw, but now lately the best cards have been switch hitters or righties so I guess Burnes boost is ok, at least for the speed increase.

It's gives 98 speed to almost everyone that's a cover athlete. Including Vlad Jr.
SDS didn't think this through, naturally, and made another Meta Captain.

I don't use Vlad Jr at all (or Judge). And the cover athletes I might use, including Tatis Jr, don't need speed.

Really liking the versatility of Peña boost can make team of all switch hitters with speed. Marte can play first base OOP and combined with verlander boost can play Posada at C or if want speed at every position the OOP Gibson C is double boosted switch catcher with 99 arm

I noticed the Peña boost as well for switch hitters. It’s actually a much better option than Santana considering how many Players have primary or secondary shortstop.
