No Lead Off Time

Anyine else have zero time to lead off a base as a runner? I don't even get the chance to try take tak a bigger lead or even lean. So base stealing timing is off because of between the animation for the lead off and the start of the pitcher wind up.

It seems that if you take a lead, the pitcher throws over. Unless you time it perfectly, I guess. But today I stole bases with Corbin Carroll and Jackie Robinson without taking a lead. So it can be done.

Go to Settings "General" and turn Balks on. See if that helps with the pitcher quick pitching.
