Let me preface this by stating that I’m old (42) not very good (22-24 overall) and generally can get into the 600s in ranked seasons. So maybe the problem is just...me...but...

Does anyone else give up like 60% Of their hits against as HRs? I’ve been paying since 3/17 and looking back, I average striking the other team out 10-12 times a game, and also do not give up many hits that are not HRs. Case in point my last two games, which are representative of my overall experience.

Lost 7-6. Gave up 11 hits (13 innings) and 7 solo HRs.

Lost 6-5, gave up 9 hits (9 innings) and 5 HRs.

Is this normal? Is this me? It would be one thing if I gave up a lot of HRs while also allowing a lot of hits and not striking out tons of guys, but this is getting out of hand.

I also seem to only play teams that have all diamond players in the high 80s low 90s while I often am pitching gold and silver pitchers, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Yup! You're not senile yet don't worry! This game is all about homers (especially off relievers) and errors!

You could strike the other person out 27 times and still give up 5 homers. It’s just how the game is this year

Well thanks for the reassurance. I’m glad it’s not just me.

Update- played a game. Lost 3-2 in 10 innings. Spun a 4 hitter. 3 solo HRs beat me.

Is this something that might get patched? I’d prefer more hits that aren’t 425 feet.
