How do you pitch and bat in same game? I don’t need citations of the ohtani rule, I need clear instructions on how to get my pitcher to take at bats in mlb the show 24

You need to create a two way player then they automatically pitch and hit

When creating your character, choose the 2way option in the middle between position player and pitcher.

In addition to creating the player as a two-way, you do have to play a minimum number of innings as a pitcher as well as games as a position player. The game code does count appearances as a DH as counting for position player games played.
