Hello, I have a question about the Stubs feature in the game. If I have purchased Stubs for one character that I have created, and then I decide to create a new character, will the Stubs that I purchased be available for use with the new character as well, or are they only usable by the original character? Thank you for your clarification on this matter.

You don't need to buy stubs for RTTS, you get equipment packs as you play that you can add to your player

The stubs are part of your private account for this copy of the game. So, yes, within MLB The Show 24 on that particular console, they will remain in your account if you create a new player.

However, stubs cannot transfer to future or past MLB The Show games -- for instance you cannot use them in MLB The Show 23 if you have the past game in your console.

The thing about stubs is that they are useful within Diamond Dynasty to purchase players from the community market, or to purchase card packs from the market. They can also be used to purchase equipment and perks from the market for your RTTS player. They have a very limited role in Franchise, where the only use is to purchase sponsorships that can add to your team's budget, which you can then use to sign more and/or better players.

So, I've found that certainly for Franchise, and to lesser extent in RTTS, they only serve a small term and limited role, after which I find they accumulate for no good purpose.

Stubs do serve a good purpose in rtts if you want to purchase certain equipment rather that wait and hope to get what you want. Equipment packs are random and don’t tend to have a lot of diamond level equipment. SDS randomly does 1/2 off stub sales and you can get a better deal. I usually buy the 150,000, get the equipment I need and then just use equipment packs after that. If I were you I would see what equipment you want and, add it up and then buy stubs accordingly. Just know up front you can’t buy Nike equipment this year.
