@sbchamps17_NSW And it’s definitely not an advantage to use it.

How do you know that someone is using timing? Oh that's right YOU DON'T. No where does it tell you what hitting someone is using
Before 2007 introduced zone I was quite possibly the worst hitter ever

Pitch location absolutely does matter when hitting with timing, and if you cant pitch well vs a timing user thats a monumental skill issue on your end
-
If you dot corners pitching timing is terrible

These posts make me smile… OP has very strong opinions of things he knows nothing about.
After playing nothing but timing/analog for over a couple of years, now, I actually just gave up the ghost a few weeks ago and have been playing zone… I dislike the mechanic, but I was growing tired of having to get really good luck to scrape more than 5 hits together above 700.
Face it, OP, you’re losing to players who are better than you are and you’re just grasping at excuses because you’re having a hard time coming to terms with that.

All I know is timing hitting is horrible vs dotting pitching. Sometimes my hitters hit balls meant for zone hitting but it depends on the hitter that's up. I've hit homers with timing on balls out of the zone. Mostly foul em off. But balls way out of the zone are swished.

I've used them all and pinpoint imo is the most accurate and reliable if you hit your perfects. It sucks when the ump is constantly calling balls on your dotted pitches and that should be fixed but pinpoint is the most effective at removing the RNG.
As for batting zone is most effective with PCI placement. I don't use anything anymore cause you have the least amount of error in zone plus PCI

@AdeptOfMemory_PSN wrong

Why do people advocate for others to stop putting themselves at a disadvantage?

Do you know what IMO is? You realize I'm giving a subjective opinion on settings that are basically personal preference right?
