Like my headline reads, enough is enough. The guy is on the tail end of his career, always injured and hasn't had a diamond level year in years. At least make him a silver like you guys did with Kris Bryant, Cody Bellinger. Also the Angels are an awful team with and without him! Reality must set in.

I kind of agree but I think that would enrage more of the base than you think. That's likely why they won't do it. If shohei ever fell off they wouldn't just drop his rating either. They bring in money.

I think this is the last year for Trout as a 90+. They already have his replacement with Judge/Ohtani....they'll be the big fish next year. I think he's gonna be an 88-89 at launch next year.

@AdeptOfMemory_PSN I understand that but his stats don't lie. Dude is injury prone nowadays, it is what it is. I want to see accurate cards for all players. I feel he gets special treatment. Granted, he will get his yearly 95, 99 cards in collections but enough is enough.

@Rubbaneck34_XBL He should definitely drop below 90, but I’m not sure silver is warranted. He’s still been pretty good when he plays, but he shouldn’t be 90+ anymore. Yordan Alvarez is only an 87. It’s shameful Trout is still 90+.

He's not even the most expensive LS card anymore. OPs post actually "screams" this should be the reality for the guy who hasn't played a full season since 2019...no im not including the covid year.

… I get that their 3-season-avg should level him down … so from a DD-perspective he should not be the goat anymore … but he is … maybe … that is up for debate but my fingers are crossed for him that the injuries end somehow -
Given the fact that Mike Trout is the WAR leader for active players, I don't think a Silver would make sense. Low Diamond, sure.

I don't think that's his point though....it's a gameplay kind of point. Trout would still likely be a 2k card in the marketplace even if he was a silver.
