When to sell non-locked Season 2 cards
-
I missed Season 1 so I apologize if this was a topic back then.
I assume Season 2 cards will drop in value just before Season 3 starts since with limited wild cards you won't be able to use most S2 cards anymore.
I'm going on vacation tomorrow and won't be back to my console until the day before S3 starts.
Should I sell now? Since I only have 1-2 days left to play S2?
Edit: Too bad the they never added more reward tiers for season 2 above 250 cards. If they had a good reward for 300+ then maybe I wouldn't sell.

I'd wait. Some of them go up in price.

you can sell from the app, too.

Yeah it seems weird to me why so many Season 1 cards are still expensive.
I understand the best Season 1 cards being valuable (like for example Rutschman) because people use them as wildcards, but not low-level cards.
I guess it's due to low supply and decent demand.

The problem with any of this is that card prices will crash before they rise. First, there is still what, 17 days and some change left before season 3. If there is a flash sale, which I think there will be before Season 3 drops, prices will drop. Secondly, they will give out a bunch of free packs to make the collection easier to compete between now and the start of season 3. I just sold a bunch of mine off and am at about 1.3M now. I will flip some this week too, but sometime in the next 10 days there will be a lot of free cards dropped in our laps I think.

I believe we will get more reward tiers. They added the homestretch packs into season 1 if I remember correctly. I would think they would do the same this season.

This is a very good point and a strong one to consider. If they were to drop team captains for example, you could see a spike in demand as every Phillies theme team would want the rare cards of the Phillies for example.
