Foul ball at bats by CPU

Or maybe learn to pitch better
-
Well, that escalated quickly.

I must be the only one who doesn't have problems with foul balls. It's not hard to pitch to the CPU
-
I have them often. They will even swing and foul off my pitch when to ball is over a foot off the plate. It kills my pitcher from pitching late into the game. My pitcher will have 80+ pitches going into the 5th inning. I at least want him to finish 5 innings to get the win.
I sure do not want to just keep grooving the ball and allowing the CPU to hit them and hope for a out every now and then. I pitch around the corners, high, low and try to make them swing at bad pitches. I walk around 2 batters a game. -
I don't have a problem with CPU foul balls, I do get the ABs where they get stuck in foul ball mode but after the 3rd straight foul I throw one far off the plate, after that the AB proceeds as if nothing had happened.

Curious, what was ur guys K/9? And what was the hitters contact? Was it on simulation?
-
Mine is on simulation. I have timing set down 1 or two clicks to the left trying to avoid the foul balls after foul balls....I do not think that helps at all. If memory serves me right, I think the longest AB was 26 or 27 pitches long. Most times they fall between the 10 -12 pitch range. The other thing I have noticed is when you get two outs the next batter you face has tremendous contact ability. This is when I get most of these long, long at bats.
I have a high K ratio with my pictures. The best time was I had a pitcher with 11 strike outs through 5 innings but the game was delayed for rain and he wasn't sharp after that delay and i had to take him out. -

I will have to try that next time. Throw one behind the batter or into the mesh behind the plate LOL
