So I’ve read back through all of the recent threads about monitors. I am playing on a newer 60” with 13ms and I almost made ws last season I just ran out of time on final push. I don’t think I need to monitor to compete because I do really well, but looking to go to the next level. Part of my wanting to switch is I have to sit too close to the 60” to get timing down and it’s burning my eyes out, get very tired and weird optical illusions and headaches from just a couple hours. So I think the smaller screen and better input lag will make for an all around more enjoyable experience. I can set up a nice little gaming area for when I want to compete in the show.

Can people please post what they use, as of now the benq zowie is a top contender but there are so many options out there. Are they are specs besides lag and refresh rate to be aware of?

Thank you in advance and sorry to create a new thread on a well discussed topic. -

Also I ONLY play the show

Yeah, it really dont mater. BenQ Zowie are good. But probably a little pricey. For PS4 any 60hz or 60 fps monitor is fine.

I think the big screen is giving me eye problems lol, I have to sit too close, and it’s a gigantic stoke zone to cover too. It is fun playing on it but my eyes can only take a couple games a day, I feel I want to at least try a monitor for a few weeks, if I don’t like it I’ll return it

Asus VG245h is a decent monitor. I would tell you to look for something with a higher refresh rate if you plan on buying a PS5, but it sounds like you aren’t even sure you want it for the PS4.

Curious how close you were sitting?? I’m using my monitor but when I was on my 50” Samsung I sat about 4 feet away and had no eye issues.

I own this monitor as well and can recommend it. I actually use it as a secondary monitor. My HDMI cord dont reach my PS4 from it so I use it on my 1440p 165 hz monitor, no difference on PS4.
