Am I the only one who loves this year’s game?

@nflman2033_MLBTS The ONLY issue I've ever had with check swings is the pressure and timing of them. I don't mind them. I don't understand the arguments cause I don't feel gameplay quality damaged by it in my games.
It's kind of 50/50 chance the batter loses the check to the ump so it can't really be abused at least in my games. In fact I like it many times as a pitcher cause you get to sword people and it feels quite good to juke a batter in a non pitching meta.Sorry, I've digressed.

- Not enough content
- Too much content
- Content too easy
- Content too hard
- Too much grinding
- Not enough to do
I don't think I've ever seen Too Much Content EVER mentioned about TS24. Nor have I seen too hard. But I can say I've seen all of the other ones.
I think all of that is wrapped up inside of the "too much grinding" statement.
Either way the sentiment is, SDS is continuing to make the mistake of trying to make everyone happy.
SDS has not tried to make the people who liked last years content (programs, mini seasons, etc) happy. They have told us [censored] off, play something else.
Retro ASG program is a joke. Guess I'm done with 2024 sadly.

No, they can't. It's obvious this year they are shooting for making the people who don't want a lot of grinding happy.
Trust me, I am firmly on the camp of wanting a lot of stat grinding, so I don't like 24 for DD.

It's fine. The gameplay is good, much better than previous years. I think the hitting feels really good. It just feels like it's half a game.
The programs are so so short, I only feel like playing a bit for 2 or 3 days a week. No urge to start it up like Mon-Thurs.I don't like the changes to the monthly awards to a weekly awards. I liked the longer track and having a monthly captain. I liked when there were way more captains in general. Now you just get I think it's like 10(?) team captains between hitting & pitching to pick between all teams. And it's the same ones all year, so as a Brewers fan, it's just the same terrible Rowdy Tellez hitting captain all year. I preferred the TA track where you got one for each team, each season.

About check swings after 20?
That is specifically what I am talking about. Back on 20 I could check swing vs the CPU on HOF and Legend. But on 22 and 24, didn't play 21 or 23, they are random AF. -

This years game to me is the worse one they have come out with. Having to rebuild a team aucks but would be better if they actually gave us better cards to take the field with. I don't need a 99 ovr team but [censored] let me get at least between 93 and 95

The biggest argument on behalf of SDS from their supporters on the forums is that ALL of the problems are due to previous gen consoles.
If you criticize the games unpolished nature or its bugs is simply "it's because last gen support! SDS needs to drop old gen!" -
No they don't, a majority of people still play on the old Gen consoles, forcing people to pay for a new console with the way that they price things like food and other stuff is out of control thus why they can't afford the new console, unless of course your rich

I personally can’t agree that gameplay is good this year. People dink [censored] late or early all over the field. The game is very much RNG and I can’t be convinced otherwise. I’ve seen so many marchers where I blast everything with perfect PCI and it just won’t give me the [censored] hit. And for flawless I’m always matched with someone that walks it off the very last out of the game. Funny… that pitch didn’t go where my input put it AND I had a perfect release. The game just feels scripted. I bobble between 8 and 900 and I constantly lose online on BR or events to 300 players. The games a joke this year. The content is terrible. I can’t praise it

SDS needs to drop old gen!"I’d say they should do the same thing Take2 Interactive is doing with NBA 2K. A different game for each generation, I just don’t know if they have enough devs to split them in two groups for two different versions of the same game.
