Taking a break

While I love this game and baseball in general I have to take time off.
Games like Final Fantasy 14 expansion Dawntrail, Elden Ring DLC, and Fallout 76 remarkable DLC content that dropped recently, have gotten my attention.
Unfortunately MLB the Show 24, Sony, and SDS have made this year's game less appealing during season 2.
Mistakes like this remind me of how Diablo 4 mucked up their game. I'll be on occasionally like once a week but nothing serious. No more grinding.

This will be me the second Vampire Survivors releases on PS5.

Wish it wasn't that way. I think if a game frustrates you but you don't want to stop gaming, yes, play something else. I usually do one game long stretches myself. Been playing other games in an out for a while now.

This is me every year. I never play this game to the exclusion of other games.
I need to try fallout 76 again. I remember getting frustrated over just how much resource gathering there is just to upgrade armor and weapons.
Last few days I have rediscovered how much I enjoy MS Flight Sim on the Series X console. I prefer to play it on PC in VR for the immersion but the console version is pretty and is a nice game to chill out to while listening to some music.

I'll help you, Wastelander. Haven't been to Appalachia in a few months, and they just did a map expansion I may need to investigate.

this seasons idea isn't appealing. I hate that I built up a solid roster in season 1 and it's essentially useless in season 2. There should've been more carryover to keep things alive and well.

@Jacky-Chan1_XBL it's very hard for me not to buy this year's game. I've had every game of baseball since '08. I'm very loyal but also reading all these bugs and glitches about diamond dynasty and just how it's not good anymore. I had to take a year off as well to buy so I'm still playing 23's version. My thing is I hope they honestly read feedback and make next year's game a lot better. More user-friendly, I just hope there's a lot more input from what we give the studios
