Why are franchise ratings so bad

How come every time I start a new franchise in mlb the show 24PS5 the ratings are soooooooo far off from there live series ratings in diamond dynasty

DD attributes go up to 125, Franchise to 99

Yeah but I mean the live series cards ratings are so far off from the franchise ratings. For example in diamond dynasty Bryce Harper has 100 pwr against righties, but in franchise he has 74 pwr vs righties.

Because DD is arcade, franchise is sim.

Both are the same number, 100/125 in DD, 74/99 in franchise.

Couple of points.
- 100 of 125 is 80% of the max power stat for DD
- 74 of 99 is 75% of the max power stat for Franchise
So they are not that different.
Next, when was the franchise started and what roster was chosen? Once you start a franchise and lock in the roster it does not benefit from normal card upgrades that DD gets. In three updates since the game was released Harper has gotten
+7 power vs R on April 6th
- 13 power vs R on May 17th
- 2 power vs R on June 7th
I can only assume the lower scale and thus lower numbers are in franchise to keep the stats more realistic.
