Season 2 is starting out like season 1 for offline Cardinal fans. So far the cardinals have had a total of 1 card (Pedro Pages) in an offline program other than Team Affinity.
Paul Goldschmidt - Online Reward
Tommy Edman - Rare Round in a pack
Nolan Gorman - Rare Round in a Pack
Bob Gibson - Reward for Collections.
Dylan Carlson - TAHere was Season 1's best Cardinal cards

Victor Scott - PackCardinals have had their fair share of cards but the breakdown is fairly bleak for offline players.
1 of 15 - Earned in an offline Program (Pages - 3rd string catcher)
2 of 15 - Earned in Online Programs (Edman and Goldy)
2 of 15 - Season Collections (Gibson and Brock)
4 of 15 - Team Affinity (Carlson, Ludwick, Torre, Flaherty)
6 of 15 - Packs (Gorman x 2, Nootbaar, Helsley, Hence, Scott) -
@Dolenz64_XBL at least your team is getting cards. DD is a online mode at heart. To not play the online stuff you're missing out on alot of stuff man.

I don't complain about the number of cards but the method they are earned. Even if I count the online rewards above that is still only 3 of 15 cards you could earn in programs outside of team affinity. Half of the number that has been included in packs.
Plus, it started out as an online mode for sure but I don't think I would call it an online mode at heart anymore.

@Dolenz64_XBL i know but i think its worth it especially if you're a cardinals fan to do this event and get the 10 wins for that Goldy card. 10 wins really isn't that hard, hell half the ppl will probably quit on ya if you score first lol

I just complain about the balance, there is ZERO balance as Yankees and Dodgers can field 3-4 NY or LA teams with all of the cards they have got

Is this the only program event? No series events like the Korea, Mexico and London series???

At its heart DD is a "Hero collector". Its about gathering a roster to use in various modes.
Typically hero collectors are predominantly PvE, with a PvP mode that usually isnt even live PvP, just you vs someone richer's roster.The majority of people prefer offline play (2/3rds according to a fairly large reddit poll last year, and the reddit playerbase I would assume skews online compared to the norm but I could be wrong)
To say DD is an online mode at heart is ridiculous.

I assume it’s because this is only the second event of Season 2. Giving people No Sell Season One cards wouldn’t go over well.

I will, for the first time ever, give events a go but I am not wasting all my play time chasing 10 wins. I guess it is time to test my connection and skill (or lack thereof).

@Dolenz64_XBL I'm guessing you have both Cardinals captains? Run that Cardinals theme team!
I'm running the Giants theme team in the event, as it's a great reason to use it
Matchmaking has been fine, It seems like there's a lot of people playing it.

No I meant the cards from the first event that they put in packs in every event after. I forget what they were called. I hope they do cuz I sold em both from last event.

I guess I'll never get them just because I play on Nintendo switch and never get a match up in any online game

@Warpedzilla_PSN rewinds. And that’s what I’m saying. There’s only been one event so far so there’s only two cards to rewind unless they put Season one cards in the pack.
