GET SHEILD WOODS OUT OF THE GAME

Strange that nobody ever shows up on the forum saying
"I just demolished my opponent by hitting 10 HRs in Shield Woods Park. Please get rid of it".
Sir, you can take the rest of the day off.
Regardless of my hatred towards high elevation stadiums, I agree with you. We as a community only complain when we are on the wrong side of the RNG.
-
Ok, I demolished someone earlier in BR at Shield woods, please get rid of it.

True story. Its like the whole perfect/perfect thing. Its always "I had 3 perfect perfect lineouts to 3rd in one game" but never "i had 3 good/early HRs at Coors in my last game"

If I don't hit a 500+ foot home run once a day at Shield Woods I don't know if I could get out of bed the next day....

Please get Costco out of the game, I hate that I can earn easy grind-able missions and XP, it makes me mad I don’t have to do the hours and hours of grinding like 18 to get cards I want. Delete Costco now.

Then pick a different ballpark to grind at

Um I assume that post was sarcasm.

Not possible. Simply improbable.

I mercied people at this crappy stadium … My complains are not about losing … the experience is just simply bad … very bad.
This stadium is simply bad and not worthy of a Baseball game that resembles „The Show“. I have no complains about Coors, which is also max elevation. In comparison there are worlds between Coors Field and effing Shield Woods. The latter is just a disgrace to this gameEDIT: The only good thing about this stadium is replaying every sub-90-mph-HR … That is really nice

High evolution stadiums have made me not play online. Win or lose…not enjoyable. Wish there was an option to disable those stadiums.

Is shield woods only on next Gen aka a created stadium? Simple solution: be poor like me and play a PS4

That will not help, it is not out of stadium creator (but „behaves“ like one) ..

Yes, Shield Woods is bad; but Shippett Stadium is worse! When I play at Shippett, the games are always high scoring, I have used all my pitchers, and even players that don't hit for any power; hit massive bombs in that park. There never seems to be a low scoring game ever; even compared to other hitters' parks. In addition, the all-wood batter's eye is ugly and covers most of the center field fence. To me, Coors Field is a pitchers' park compared to Shippett. Unless it's a real minor league park, I would like Sony San Diego to get rid of this stadium posthaste.

You must be playing mlb the show 20. Shippett is a well balanced park now

The problem is that SDS pushes us towards this.
Im setting at 19k PxP for BR and I want to be done with it, and Shield Woods would give more HRs so more PxP and it becomes tempting
Further, the round 1 of ranked drops are beyond absurd. 50 runs went up to 100 runs...And 200 hits? Come on SDS that is just punishing 'average' players for no reason.
So yes, SDS wants us to play 15-14 games at Shield Woods. So since I cant beat them I might join them, and this is coming from someone who probably has 15 or so losses from instant quitting parks like Shield Woods.
-
I get my a$$ kicked at every stadium so I prefer we play in cricket stadiums from now on.
-
@iBonafideScrub__PSN I played Shippett in 2022, and nothing had changed. Thank goodness my opponents chose other stadiums for me to play in last year in Diamond Dynasty because I really didn't want to play in this stadium. Hopefully, you're right and Sony San Diego has made this stadium in 2024 more like Coors, a hitters' park; but more balanced. Otherwise, I stand by my original position.
-
@xsdert34_PSN lol what? Shippett has one of the lowest elevations of all minor league stadiums now, and has for like 3 years

And I feel it rewards good hitting very well, I have not seen too many bad pci homeruns there, cherry on top is the batteres eye and nothing to be rendered.
