Is anyone having fun playing this weekend?

Finished the LS collection on Friday, and honestly I'm having a great time w/my Core/LS team just screwing around. I put so much pressure on myself to get Willie last season, that I felt that the majority of my time was just spent checking boxes off of a list. So far this season when I don't care about any of the collection rewards? My brain is jelly as I watch Babe, Shohei, Cornerstone Raffy and Mookie send baseballs screaming into hell, and honestly? Having the time of my life now that I don't feel forced to work on anything. The S2 cards will come when they come, but no way am I putting pressure on myself like last season. Find your joy where you can, bud.

I've done 2/3 of the conquest map but have all of my available s2 cards at p1 already so I'm waiting for the new programs for the next push.
Playing some BR in the meantime.

Yes , I'm having fun trying different team builds in events
-
I'm having fun, working on the US conquest map for the 2nd time just trying to knock out missions in the TA, did most of the moments in TA not touching the showdown and maybe starting the TA conquest maps soon
-
Absolutely, grinding team affinity offline. Just finished the mini season
-
I just play co-op or casual. Casual is the same as always. Co-op with my two brothers is alright and the one freeze off out of the 3 games we played recently ended since the other team gave up first.
Still the same game and same issues. It's fun if I play with friends or just casual. Outside of that I don't play anything else since I don't find those other modes fun. -

Did you have any of the TA bosses for the mini seasons?
-
Maybe 2 hours max since S2 drop. I honestly have zero desire to grind anything and don't really feel like its worth trying as by the time I can probably get one of the XP or S2 bosses it will be time for college football.
Least they could do is drop some wicked new OP 91 OVR (lol) cards so I have something to spend 3.7M stubs on haha

DD is actually much better after you take a long break and come back when sets and seasons are done with. That's what I did last year. Started playing ranked after sets and seasons and there was a ton of double XP to come back to. So you can pretty quickly gain all of the cards you missed out on while playing other video games all summer and part of the fall. Then you can use your whole squad again too and not have to grind offline [censored].

Oh my yes.
Highly recommend, Bichette, Santander, Rosario, Lewis and Robles

@bostondirtdog21_PSN losing to the AI again is not fun (on all star) it was just getting fun using 99’s and if I want a challenge play online now playing against the cpu is infuriating

If so, how are you making it fun?
I feel like I'm playing the same game on repeat and want to make it more interesting.
I did have a ton of "core" cards that I bought in anticipation of Season 2. I was able to sell them at a enough of a profit that I could complete the Live Series collection. I took the Castillo Captain, took Joc Peterson Dodgers captain, and loaded up my new Season 2 team.
Played through some of the East TA map. Played 2 RS games, won both (started at 400 again, so not a major accomplishment).
It was OK. But like you said, it feels like "repeat". I think the only TA card I'm interested in is Santander. The RS rewards... Meh. Like others have said, it feels like a chore.

Its alright. Just waiting on more cubs cards to drop so i can put together my theme team for ranked. Chapman is the S2 collection at 30 so basically working towards that right now.
-
I have zero interest in any of these team affinity cards, so I'm just rolling out my Dodgers team. I'm not a fan of the sets/seasons.
-
DD has really frustrated me this season. Been playing a lot more franchise. That’s been a fun change of pace, but gets boring after a while. Never thought I’d be this disinterested this early in the year, but here we are.
-
At the moment i'm just collecting stubs but this is such a boring grind. Just unlocked my first wildcard so theres that.
-
@BJDUBBYAH_PSN Yeah Santander rakes. I always use his swing for my RTTS player.

I tried to have an open mind about the reset but I wasn’t prepared for the cards to have been worse than day 1. TA 1 had 89 overall cards but some decent names that made them fun to chase and plug in as they were unlocked. With the Buxton boost team building was actually pretty fun especially because we hadn’t just spend months building up a team a sick 99’s that are now worthless. TA 2 seems like they just dug some cards out the trash of prior years, these dudes simply are not relevant nobody wants those cards and I can’t help but think they chose these guys based off pure laziness. Why I have to shelf all my 99’s to grind for a 89 overall future stars Clint Frazier from 6 years is beyond me. Anyways I appreciate the effort from SDS to innovate and make this game more fun and I just don’t think think resetting the power creep 3 times was viable idea without a a clearer/more logical plan for the content

having fun in my franchise, not so much DD
-
While I have been pretty down on the content this year. I still have fun when I sit down and play. If I am not enjoying myself then I simply stop and play something else.
I think the other thing that keeps me from getting burned out is that I don't feel the need to complete every piece of content they release.
