Is anyone able to play ranked solo online?
Every time I try it finds an opponent instantly than says servers failed.

While yes he could do that, him making another post expresses that it's not an isolated issue. Many times the defenders of the game will say "I don't think this is a common issue or we would see more posts about it" and brush off these things because there isn't many posts about.
Support tickets don't work. -
@AdeptOfMemory_PSN literally no one has said any issues with ranked right now are uncommon. Zero. And support tickets absolutely work, if you’ve ever filled one out that wasn’t profanity laden, and calling SDS and its employees scum and trash, you would know that.
