I have beat the Usa map 5 times. When you get to the last two teams mostly Yanks and Redsox for me, RNG goes thru the roof. nine times out of ten if I have the lead in the third the inning starts with errors and then hr bombs from the RNG doesn't matter if its rookie or hall of fame. The computer also makes me pop up if they have the lead, never get foul offs just pop up outs.
Or you can do what I do and save the best team for last, MY MIAMI MARLINS!!!
They are so bad not even the RNG gods can help them.
Or the Blue Jays, completely crushed them my second time beating the USA map. I'm on my 3rd run now.

Astros give me trouble too. Up 5+ runs and they end up tying. Only lost 1 game to them but always a hard win even on rookie. They must know what pitches are coming. ;0

On my first playthrough it's mostly was twin, yanks and marlins... yes Marlins who beat out Tampa and Atlanta, now New York with like 6 strongholds with a single redsox stronghold holding out . Going to be an adventure

I'm convinced that there are some games where its just not possible to win. No matter what your inputs are, the CPU finds a way to win

UPDATE:
Beat the astros 5-0 (of course), 10 packs had good things. Lots of high bronze, few gold unlockables, AND DeGrom was worth it, can accept the stress of this game for a few more days now.
-
Do you love torture? In the time you play that map a second time, you can earn two prospect cards, two diamond cards, 18K stubs and 18 packs playing two MTO's (or more)
-
Sorry but everyone knows the Astros are cheaters.

Finishing up my second go around of the US map and I’ve lost to an Astros stronghold 4 times on rookie/veteran. 2 walk offs included meanwhile I have more Good/Okay outs hit than they have base hits.
They got cameras

It’s a computer. People make them with specific designs. And with the Harvard and Yale GM’s helping out with analytics, it’s even easier to do in a game. Tbt to the show 17 I think when every ball ever hit up the middle went off the pitchers mound and was an easy double play. There’s always a 1:50 chance someone loses a game on what was programmed into the situations.

Okay but its given commands based off how well you hit the ball, PCI placement, timing, etc. What are you talking about in MLB the show 17?? I know for a fact that in 17 everything up the middle was a hit, into the shift, or demolishing the pitcher's head. You're just mad that you can't win on veteran.
