Team affinity help!

Question for a newbie!

With team affinity season 2. It says you have to use a season 2 eligible line up! Does the mean core cards get you points earned towards the affinity program?

Does the wild card??? What’s the best way ti progress through the team affinity ?

Season 2 cards are cards labeled as Core and ones labeled as S2.

S1 cards won't progress programs even if wildcarded.

I will also note free agent cards even if core or season 2 will not progress TA programs as they are not tied to any teams or divisions
