Booty flash sale
-
@Pergo_PSN it's a game rated e for everyone. If packs are a lottery the game is inherently flawed because it encourages children to gamble and lose worse than an actual casino
-
And the free vault pack had another 2 91 ovr, as I stated, they should 8nclude better odds details
-
The chase packs were just... decent. Actually made a few stubs before the market crashed instantly
-
@Wildthingwilly_MLBTS Packs are not a lottery or gambling. With a lottery and gambling you are not guaranteed to get anything in return. With packs you are guaranteed to get something. They are a terrible use of stubs and I don't think there is any reason to buy packs, but it is not like a lottery or gambling.
-
@Wildthingwilly_MLBTS thats why us vets, buy all the Adleys and Skenes we can for 64k and sell after the sell ends for 100k
-
@GixxerRyder750_PSN A thousand more fools are being born, every f***** day
-
@Pergo_PSN the arguement of you get "something" is the arguement all of these companies use. If I play blackjack the casino has about a 2% edge if I play perfect basic strategy. Obviously there is variance so in a small sample size you can lose worse, but if you could theoretically play enough hands you should lose about 2% of your money. However mlb the show has odds of typically 1:5 for the expensive cards in packs, and that chance typically doubles your stubs. However 80% of the time you will lose 75% of your stubs, which will give you a worse return of investment on average than a casino even though you get "something" in return
-
@chuckclc_MLBTS at the time I thought it was the flash sale because it released the free seasons awards pack at the same time. I pulled 2 85 gunnar Hendersons and 3 adleys. So 180k off of 125k isn't horrible ig. The vault packs are still horrid though and they should disclose the actual odds
-
@chuckclc_MLBTS I have a decent amount of stubs but I'm just scared they won't go up bc the season is ending and that's a lot of stubs to tie up
-
@Wildthingwilly_MLBTS Its been this way for years. They will at least profit 20-25K min if you git them for 64-66k. Might be too late now, not sure
-
@chuckclc_MLBTS I bought a couple didn't want to tie up like 500k on it though
-
@Wildthingwilly_MLBTS I fell ya. Im trying to flip some cards for the next flash sell lo. Im low on stubs

Like I said, buying packs is never really a wise use of stubs.
-
@chuckclc_MLBTS I have 600k rn basically broke even after getting shafted by the vault packs. I never opened them and now I know why haha
-
@Pergo_PSN like I said, it's gambling. They disguise it by giving you "something"
-
Wait, buying packs resulted in loss of stubs?
-
@theBlindRhino_PSN my point isn't a loss of stubs, my point is the odds are worse than winning in a casino in a game rated E for everyone.
-
@Wildthingwilly_MLBTS I remember reading a comment the other day, not from you, but person was asking how some users accumulate millions of stubs when he has never been able to have more than 30k at a time. Buying packs is probably the cause. I work the market whenever I know the majority of user base will be ripping packs and quick selling cards at a loss. I buy up their garbage and then list for a reasonable profit and then buy the cards they were striving for. The lottery in, real life, and buying cards/ stubs is just an added tax for dumb people. Avoid the temptation.
-
@theBlindRhino_PSN I have 600k, I've played mlbts forever, but I feel like they need to be called out on just how bad the odds are. Madden plays more like a lottery, but that's known and they usually have exact percentages as to what ovrs you can pull. There are no 1 million stub cards in mlb so they are awful. Also my main problem is their super vague pack odds percentages that sometimes mean nothing.
