Thanks for giving me a bunch of cards I can't collect....

LOL, here's a fix..."No, I don't wanna do that"
-
Just curious if people who say "Just collect them in the companion app" have actually tried to do that, or are simply parroting something that someone else suggests.
I don't know how yours works, but in my companion app (tablet or phone), the collections tab displays cards in rows of two. And it doesn't load all the cards at once, so when you swipe down every 2 or 3 rows, it lags for a second or two or three to load more cards. And sometimes, the collection tab locks and you have to back out and start again. There's also no option to collect all, so you have to click on every one.
So, that's 200+ rows of cards, that you swipe through to view the cards, with lag, and sometimes you have to start again.
"Just collect them on the app" certainly sounds easy, but doesn't begin to describe the time and frustration of actually having to do that.
And on a related note, has anyone checked to see if the collection count in the app is even right? I mean, have you manually seen every collected card and checked them against your count? I know I haven't, because I've never made it through all 200+ rows before the collection tab locks up, but I'm genuinely curious to know if anyone else has.

It's correct in the app but not in the game

It's correct in the app but not in the game
So you've manually counted every collected card displayed in the app and it matches your reported card count?
-
@energystar157 I have collected cards in the app, and console. When there was a glitch on console, I only used the app and it was just fine.
-
@BJDUBBYAH_PSN And it's fine for me, too, but I can certainly see how the need to swipe through 200 rows, loading lag, tendency for the collections tab to lock up, and lack of a collect all feature could be frustrating for a lot of folks.

Funny thing, my app is showing the correct 275/400
my Switch i use at work on lunchs and breaks 284/400
my xbox is showing 305/400....which is the correct number i think lol.
my app hasnt shown my stub count in months either. Yes i checked for an update lol.

Why should someone have to download a seperate app regardless? That's like having to open an app to turn on your microwave. The microwave should just work.

@Wildthingwilly dont be using logic on this forum bud!

So that way you can buy and sell cards from it, and open packs and buy packs. Check your progress on programs

@BJDUBBYAH unfortunately my psn is really old and idk the password so I never sign out and the email is a dead email. I shouldn't have to download an app for the game to work regardless
That sounds like a you problem that you may wanna fix soon.

@Easy_Duhz_It_ I'm on the phone w them now actually haha, but yeah dead email and dead phone num makes it a pain

I mean, almost everything in my home can be controlled from my phone. It’s a modern convenience.

I downloaded the app, and it works. You can collect the lower value cards that aren't being displayed.
That said, there's no reason to have this app, unless you're some super high volume trader. It's not like Madden, where they put out glitched packs you have to quickly jump on remotely.
So, they should just you know, fix this thing that should be really easy to fix. Unless they're not doing that just to push people to download their app. -
@betamax0 I got it fixed but it's wild that I had like 20 cards I had to collect on a seperate app bc the devs don't fix the game
