Will these XP program rewards carry over to S2?

I’ haven’t touched any of the programs like season awards since drop 7 abd also this new Byron Buxton program I don’t plan on really completing them til season 2 drops. I already got the 3 bosses so I’m thinking I’ll save them and start on them once season 2 starts.
My question is will the XP earned for completing them carry over for for season 2. If that’s the case ima have a big head start on accumulating XP once the new season drops.

I was just going to reference the blog haha, they specifically address your question in there. TLDR: any xp from S1 programs will be reduced once season 2 starts, so up to you to decide what you wanna do with that info.

Also, are my eyes playing a tri k on me or does completing the first two Head Start items only net you 250XP?

That's just showing you your progress in those two programs towards completing them. The first required 100 stars/xp and the second 150, so I assume when that "Head Start" appears for us it'll autopopulate all of those based on our progress in those programs.
I think somewhere else in there they said that completing all of those would give 200 or 250k xp for the xp reward path, which is enough to get to lvl 10 and unlock the first wildcard slot.
