Losing connection to your opponent?

For the last week I’ve been unable to play online games in mlb the show DD. Every time I’m able to match and select the pitchers and lineup. After that, it loads and then says lost connection to your opponent.

I’ve attempted to reset my router and some other minor fixes. Only idea I haven’t done is redownloading the software but wanted to ask if anyone has had similar issues and how they have tried to fix it. Also, a switch player is that helps. Thank you in advance for any tips or assistance!
