Captain boost

So I have been wondering why SDS doesn't allow players to be boosted from teams they have previously played for in their career. Like the new Olsen and Murphy could be boosted by Swanson or any other teams they have been on. Madden does something like that is it just me or anybody else agree.

It would seem to defeat the purpose of the captain’s description if it allowed players who don’t meet the current criteria to be boosted by the captain.

Nah , I think its fine the way it is. I would rather they make a card for that team. For example make a Mat Olsen card for his previous team . Put it in a conquest map. If they already have the rights to a player , maximize them.
