But I enjoyed playing it and I barely hovered above .500. Clearly, 19 was more [censored] friendly than 20 is lol

I still think 17 is the best since I started playing online. 19 was a lot better than this though.

I only started in 18 and stopped playing because I could not hit. I was playing on a TV though as I didn't know any better. 19 was my first year giving it a full shot while upgrading to a monitor and felt I played to about my skill level. I stopped when madden came out and made 800's twice with 700's once which I felt pretty happy about overall. I was fine to hover around the upper AS range.

People talk about the game becoming more [censored] friendly and removal of the skill gap but I disagree. The average player like me has probably taken a step backwards compared to good players who have remained good because good players will always be good.

Yeah, pretty much. Good players will always be good, average players have more of an uphill battle. Especially if you arent on a monitor or are getting older and dont have the reaction time you used to.

19 had some golden months where hitting was rewarding. Other than that it was straight...bad.
