I always click too fast through the XP cap alert so is there anywhere you can go to check the running time that’s left before you can earn gameplay XP again?

Also, how long do you have to wait in total?

If you exit and restart the game, the warning message will pop up again. Also, I think it’s a pseudo-rolling window. So, the amount of time you have to wait is based on 24 hours, but I don’t think it’s strictly a “8:00 am to 8:00 am” type of thing (if that makes sense). Instead, I think it’s more like if you hit the cap at 6:00 pm, but you earned 400 XP at 8:00 pm the previous day, at 8:00 pm you can start earning XP again until you hit the cap again (which would be around 400 XP).
I can’t remember if that’s ever been proven/disproven or stated by SDS and be way or another.

I am replying though to clarify that the cap is 15,000 in 16 hour periods. It is called a daily cap but it isn’t actually 24 hour periods. The cap will reset 16 hours after you first earned XP as part of the 15,000. So if you start playing at 7:15 a.m. and play until you hit 15,000, it will reset at 11:00 p.m. (16 hours from 7:00 a.m. — it reverts to an hour instead of being at 11:15 p.m.).
