I may be an outlier but the “sweats” are much more fun than dominating someone. I only play ranked so maybe its different in other modes

i just started playing online so you can play me. i'm not that good.
i don't quit either even if i'm down 10-0. i just like playing. online is still a new experience for me and I am liking events right now.

I only play events online, with an occasional BR(failed) run. I have been getting annihilated. Almost every game is Randy, John Donaldson, or Edward Cabrera, one game I faced all three.

i am getting that too now. lot of randy johnson and then dibble to clean up. and majority of games now at laughing mountain park.
but i did have a dramatic win vs one guy who used the johnson/dibble combo. couldn't hit johnson at all and then in the last inning guy brought in dibble. i was down to my last strike and hit a hr with jeter to move it to extras. then in extra's, i tried to bunt to move my guy to 2nd but the ball was way inside so i quit the bunt and the ball was a wild pitch. then hit a sac fly to win.
a rare but satisfying win.

I'm barely an average player, but I could still manage 6 or 7 wins each BR or event run. But lately I'm lucky if I can win 2 games before getting eliminated. Every pitch I throw is either meat or an obvious ball. The rare occasions I do get a PP it's a lineout or it's caught at the wall. I am slumping big time. lol Everything I do is wrong and everything my opponent does just works. Got crushed yesterday in BR where opponents record was 4-23 or so in RS. Wow!

I've had the worst run since I started playing. Normally I can win 1-3 games per BR entry and I have I think one win in my last 6 entries. I'm not necessarily playing sweats either, but pulse pitching right now is destroying me with its unreliability and my fielders love to give a 4th outs to people as well, even the gold and diamond ones.
But I'm only playing BR for the cards and the xp, and because of the lack of support for offline play this year. But I'm not having fun and for the first time ever actually rage quit out of frustration. I think I just need to accept the direction of the game is away from offline and move on.
