Why do the Season Award Program?
-
Why did you divide by 6 and which hitting stats did u use?
-
Not sure where you get Witt being equivalent to an 83 lol
I immediately slotted him into my lineup and don’t expect to struggle at all with him on HOF
It’s a good card
-
So speed, fielding, stealing, mean nothing
Boy wait till you find out what baseball includes
-
@doobiebross66-72
how dare you not be upset at every content drop.........................
I have come to learn that most of my favorite entertainment things: Star Wars, baseball, Rick and Morty, Marvel, MLB the Show are great but the fans can be awful.
If you enjoy something don't go to the messageboards lol
-
This is such B.S. Thank you for the entertainment

The new Witt card is a fraud. The card says 95, but if you add up all his hitting stats and divide it by 6, his average hit rating is only 83.. With vision and Clutch being very important, no one above Allstar will use his card competitively. 60's vision and a terrible clutch = a bad bad 95 rated card.
"If I adjust Witt to barely above average stats for literally no reason he comes out with barely above average stats.”
-
He’s just here to hear himself complain.
-
It’s not that complicated man do the program if you want the cards and don’t if don’t want them. These programs are incredibly easy to complete even semi passively and all free cards count the same towards collections. Even at rarified air up there at 700 ranked cards can play above their attributes and it’s far more important a guys swing timing fits for you than what rating you by adding attributes and dividing by 6.

- Con R = 113
- Con L = 90
- Pow R = 84
- Pow L = 96
- Vis = 65
- Clutch = 84
- Disc = 52
Total numbers = 584 ÷ 7 = 83.4. You round down anything .5 and under.
So his overall hitting rating is (((((83)))) Enjoy his 83 rated gold card guys! Now if u take his low discipline away, his card gets boosted to a ((((89))))
This is based on his hitting numbers. Speed does NOT have ANYTHING to do with RATING. 99 speed is beautiful, but it does nothing for actual hitting numbers.
Now his fielding in the 80's is above average, and speed is great. But once again, let me reiterate, SPEED HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE OVERALL RATING OF THE CARD.

Show me what fielding stats equals 95.. I'll wait....
Speed has NOTHING to DO with the overall rating of the card. It's lovely to have 99 speed of course.
But just for kicks and giggles, I included speed and fielding. Here's the true rating.
Top 7 hitting stats = 83 rated
Fielding = 82
Speed = 99
Overall rating = ((((((88)))))
The speed raised this fraud 95 card from an 82.5 to an 88, lol.Numbers don't lie.
I love how ppl still don't see what's right in their face. All I'm trying to say is, if SDS makes a card a 95, the stats should be comparable to an actual 95 rated card!
This card is an 88 rated card whether you choose to see it or not.I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you. Smh.

These calculations just don’t make sense
We’ll agree to disagree because Witt Jr is a good card. For this point in the game, his free 95 is good no matter what type of formulas you try to use to justify your view of the card
In no world does a 95 with his attributes equate to an 83 lmao

That's literally the proper way to determine the overall rating of a card.
But what you're trying to say is, math is wrong. It's like, say if Witt went 4 for 4 with 4 homeruns in one game. Then the announcer says, with that 4 for 4 day, Witt is now hitting .345. Then you argue by saying, but he had 4 hits and is hitting .1000. It don't make sense he's only hitting .345......
The .345 is the overall average "formula" determined based on his at bats and OVERALL hits. Not what he did in one day.Every number matters in hitting. His batting vs RH, LH, power, vision, clutch, etc.
If the card says 95, the average numbers should show that.
U say it's free. I love hearing this. The card is not free. You have to use your time invested to grind to get the card. What u mean to say Is, it's easy to grind and get. Which would absolutely be true, and I do not disagree.
However, the points you make still does not change the "FACT" the card is an 88 overall rated card, not a 95. -

On top of that, his hitting attributes are good for people that are even semi-talented in this game considering the vast majority of the player base in DD plays on all star. Those that reach HOF and legend in ranked don’t need massive PCIs to be successful.
Secondly, who cares about discipline? What does that even affect?
You’re the first and only person to use this “math” to try and calculate cards and it’s flawed at best
-
I did it for the cards and XP, I wouldn't use Witt anyway, but now I can if I choose

I did the full calculations for hitting, fielding, and even included his speed to bump his rating. There are 50 rated cards with 99 speed, so speed does not even calculate with the overall rating.
The overall rating of a card is determined by average numbers of the players overall hitting and fielding.
SDS gives a card it's (((OWN RATING))) and calculates the stats based on a computer algorithm reflecting the player's overall performance based on his actual stats. No one is questioning his great 99 speed and hitting stats being considered nice.
What I'm pointing out is the FACT the overall rating shows a 95, whereas the math does NOT add up to 95. It's an 88, meaning the card rating of 95 is not accurate based on simple overall stats on the card.If you can't see it, then please go back to 3rd grade.
It's funny how stupid people argue when they can't see the truth for themselves.Ok, here's a fun project I'd like you to try. It's very simple. How many actual stats = 95+ on his card? How many stats are less than 95? If the numbers less than 95 are more than those that are 95 +, then do you believe the card deserves a 95 overall rating? That's all I'm going to say. Lol smh.
-
You’re not the sharpest tool in the shed huh?
-
They gave Luisangel Acuña higher clutch, vision, and fielding than a MVP candidates Lightning card lol.
-
-
Speed does play into the overall rating of a card
-
Different ratings are weighted differently based on the position a player plays, haven’t you wondered why if you go into franchise mode and change a position their overall rating will change without changing any of their attributes?
-
Vision is almost irrelevant to anyone that understands the game, contact and clutch are much more important and his is fine. Overall a good early game card that I will probably use.
-
-
I mean, I've been using Captain Dansby Swanson at SS, with the Buxton boost, and I'm probably going to just keep using him. He has about the same hitting stats with better clutch and better fielding.
Maybe the boosts are to blame for not being excited, but Witt doesn't get any aside from Royals TT. He's not bad, he's just not exciting the way Lightning cards usually are. -

SDS is a joke. 84 Willie Castro is better with the Buxton boost in regards to hitting. How disappointing.
